Fun Baby Shower Games

Are you planning a baby shower for a friend or family member but do not have any ideas on what games to play? Have you been to a lot of baby showers and the same games have been played over and over again? Are you trying to find some fun and unusual games to play at your baby shower? Below are some baby shower game ideas that your friends and family will be talking about for weeks. More importantly, it will create wonderful memories for the mother-to-be.

Rice/Baby Pins-Put rice and baby pins in a jar. Take turns putting a blind fold on each guest. One by one let each guest see how many baby pins they can find in the rice jar. Each person has 60 seconds.

Baby Food-Buy jars of various types of baby food. Put each in a separate bowl Let everyone try to guess the flavor by tasting them. This can get difficult for people if you use unusual flavors or those types with the same color. For example; green peas and green beans or various types of meat with the same color. Have a list of the various types of foods on a paper to give them hints. This game can be really fun!

Candy Count-Put candy in a clear jar and place it on a table as people come in. Have each person guess how much candy is in the jar. You may want to use candy that is in the color scheme of the shower and is small enough that hundreds of pieces will fit. This will make the count more challenging.

Measure Mommies Tummy-With string or yarn, let each person guess how big the expecting mother's tummy has grown. Then with scissors cut each string to each persons guess. When everyone has guessed, have the mother to be put each string around her tummy and see who guessed the closest.

Pop the Balloons- Blow up several balloons in your baby shower color scheme. In only one of the balloons, place a small piece of paper with the baby's name on it. Let everyone sit on the balloons and try popping them. The one who pops the balloon with the baby name on it wins the prize.
